Patrick Lehane Therapies

The Havening Techniques®

The Havening Techniques were created By Dr. Ronald Ruden M.D. and his brother, Dr. Steven Ruden, after years of research into the neuroscience of trauma.

When trauma is encoded in your system, your stress levels can increase. With time, this changes the structure of the brain, making you more susceptible to further stress and trauma. This can significantly impact the quality of your life, and ultimately your physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

The Havening Techniques are a new “psycho-sensory modality”, which use touch to help increase Delta Wave activity in the brain. This boost in Delta wave activity allows you to quickly and permanently remove encoded trauma, including trauma’s emotional and somatosensory aspects.  The Havening Techniques work by targeting the amygdala, a part of the brain’s Limbic system. By doing so, it is possible to change the neurobiological pathways that were produced during the event that led to the traumatisation.

The Havening Techniques can also permanently change the cognitive component and autonomic reactions to the traumatic encoded memory.

About Patrick Lehane…

I began my professional certification eighteen years ago in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. It became apparent to me in those early years of the importance of meeting a person from a truly holistic perspective if the therapeutic approach was going to have the positive effect that the person seeking help and support desired. I knew that each therapy, used correctly, had the potential to address certain key aspects but no one therapy could address the multitude of symptoms and challenges that people brought to the clinic. I sought out the best therapies in their respective field of expertise to develop an integrated, client-centred approach that I could to offer my clients.    In order to achieve this I trained in and received certification in Kinesiology, Polarity Therapy, The Bowen Technique, Cranial Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.) and Matrix Re-imprinting.

Recently I have received certification in the Havening Techniques and am overjoyed to be able to now offer this unique and truly remarkable modality backed by neuroscience, to my clients. The Havening Techniques has surpassed my expectations and has amazed me in its ability to transform lives in such a short time. It is one of the most powerful modalities currently available for emotional transformation. After eighteen years of therapy this is not something I would say lightly. It is really a game changer in the area of emotional trauma.

Patrick Lehane — Other Therapies

Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that can be used to with success to help with a wide variety of problems. Kinesiology, as we know it today, was originally developed by Dr. John Goodheart and fellow chiropractors in the 1960s in California. Kinesiology is truly holistic as it addresses the person from the emotional, mental, nutritional and structural levels.

Kinesiology bridges Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M.) and meridian theory with the science and art of western muscle testing, anatomy, physiology, emotional healing modalities and nutrition including detoxification. Kinesiology utilises muscle responses as a means of biofeedback. Kinesiology is unique in its ability to not only detect imbalances that need to be corrected but also prioritizes these imbalances to discover the best way to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. Muscle testing allows the therapist to access the vast innate intelligence of the body/mind system. Kinesiology always addresses the root cause of the problem.

The Bowen Technique

The Bowen Technique was originally developed by Thomas Ambrose Bowen in Australia in the 1950’s. The Bowen Technique is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that deeply stimulates to heal. The Bowen Technique can effectively help with both chronic and acute conditions and is suitable for anyone regardless of age and health. It utilises unique movements applied over specific locations of the body. These movements are done over tendons, muscles, ligaments and nerves stimulating the body’s autonomic nervous system (A.N.S.) to respond accordingly. It effectively deals with dysfunctional patterns of muscle recruitment and postural imbalances that have developed over time as well as more recent injuries. The autonomic nervous system is affected by stress, both acute and chronic. The level of tension and tone in the soft tissue is ultimately controlled by the nervous system, creating health or dysfunction in the body. As well as helping to balance the autonomic nervous system, the moves and procedures, performed in a Bowen treatment, stimulate the self-healing of the body through the following mechanisms:

Joint proprioception

Fascia

Segmental viscerosomatic spinal reflexes

Lymphatics

Detoxification

Harmonic resonance

Meridians and acupressure points

Stretch reflexes

Cranial Therapy complements the body’s natural healing processes, improving resistance to disease.

The tapping technique was originally developed in America by Dr. Roger Callahan. Dr. Callahan’s technique was called Thought Field Therapy (T.F.T.). Gary Craig studied under Dr. Callahan and became the founder of the Emotional Freedom Technique. E.F.T. is a powerful modality with many applications.
