Are you feeling lost or disconnected from your sense of purpose? I offer an integrative approach to therapy, drawing upon existential philosophy, psychodynamic principles, and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and related approaches.

My practice focuses upon the human condition, exploring themes such as freedom, responsibility, meaning, and mortality, particularly as they relate to relationships, work, and self-identity, including how past experiences and societal expectations shape one’s sense of self. I believe that psychological distress often stems from struggling to find meaning or a sense of disconnection from one’s authentic self. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are curious about their place in the world and are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their values. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their individual values, beliefs, and patterns of relating to themselves and others, and the challenges they face, utilising techniques from various therapeutic approaches tailored to their individual needs, all within the context of existential exploration.

Specification Of Therapy

Furthermore, I am trained in Logotherapy, a specific form of existential therapy developed by Dr. Viktor Frankl. This approach emphasises the search for meaning as the primary motivation in human life, positing that even in the face of suffering, individuals can discover meaning and purpose, fostering resilience and healing. For example, using Logotherapy, we might explore sources of meaning in your life, even amidst challenging circumstances, and identify ways to cultivate those sources further. I specialise in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions, such as career changes or relationship decisions. I offer a supportive and collaborative approach, empowering clients to explore the underlying causes of their struggles, identify their strengths, and develop strategies for creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

I am a Pre-Accredited member of the IACP, hold a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Diploma in Clinical Logotherapy from the Viktor Frankl Institute.
